Windows Sitemap URL checking software
Discover page URLs from XML sitemaps, sitemap indexes and nested indexes, add them to the URL list, then run a normal scan to check their HTTP response.
Sitemap discovery
Enter a domain or site URL to check its robots.txt sitemap declarations and common /sitemap.xml location, or enter a known XML sitemap URL directly.
From sitemap to status report
Sitemap discovery builds the URL list. Start the scan separately to request those page URLs and review their current HTTP results.
Build known URL lists from sitemap files, then use the normal scanner to verify the pages they publish.
Follow child sitemap files and nested indexes within the configured depth and URL limits.
Import the new sitemap URL list, then scan it for old redirects, broken pages and failed requests.
Rediscover a CMS-generated sitemap after deployment and scan the resulting page URLs again.
See the other checks available for URL audits, website migrations and technical QA.
Check HTTP status codes, redirects, final URLs, response times and request errors in bulk.
Review redirect status sequences, hop counts, final URLs, final status codes, loops and redirect errors.
Browse sitemap indexes, nested sitemaps and discovered URLs in an interactive tree.
Extract HTML canonicals, compare them with final URLs and review highlighted differences across large URL lists.
Check page titles, descriptions, robots directives, Open Graph and X metadata across large URL lists.
Review robots.txt rules and see whether each URL is allowed or disallowed.
Inspect response headers, cache rules, content types and server details at scale.
Inspect TLS versions, certificate issuers, validity dates, signatures and key details.
For a domain or site URL, URL Verifier Pro checks robots.txt for Sitemap declarations and also tries the site's /sitemap.xml location. If you already know the XML sitemap address, you can enter it directly instead.
The discovery process extracts loc entries, follows child sitemap indexes in parallel and stops at the maximum URL count or sitemap depth configured in Settings. It reports progress, supports cancellation and removes duplicate page URLs before appending them to the main URL list. It does not crawl page links to find additional URLs.
Discovery does not scan the extracted pages automatically. After the URLs have been added, start the normal URL scan to record status codes, final URLs, redirect counts, redirect chains and request errors. The resulting rows use the same filters, selected-row rescans and CSV export tools as any other URL list.
